History of Restaurant "Die Schule"
You will be dining in rooms that used to be classrooms. The classrooms were built in 1960 on debris left by WW II bombings - as an extension to a neighbouring school founded in 1867. As all houses on this old school campus were built in different periods, their architecture reflects the history of Berlin - you can see and feel it when you stay at the conference hotel just behind the restaurant.
Extended History
Restauant "Die Schule" belongs to a complex of buildings, encompassing historic public baths - you can dine there, too!
